Letter From The Publisher

As we enter the Fall 2023 season, I am filled with gratitude for my highly talented Pajama Press team members who have poured their creativity into this beautiful collection of children’s books. During the past year we have welcomed new individuals who have brought incredible energy and fresh ideas to complement the skills of our amazing core of experienced staff. Our authors and illustrators continually tell me about the positive experiences they have when working with our great team.

I have such appreciation for our trusted and ethical printers, domestic and offshore, who ensure our books are produced to the highest standards—from the gorgeous 5-colour cover with gold foil lettering of Sylvie Daigneault’s The Imaginary Alphabet to the elegant and well-bound hardcover edition of Michelle Kadarusman’s We the Sea Turtles: A Collection of Island Stories. Beautiful and lasting production quality is a core value of Pajama Press. Our printers have given us unwavering support through all the global challenges we have faced in the past few years, and I am forever thankful.

Our newly designed catalogue, which has been downsized to reduce waste and mailing costs, will introduce you to some of our most original stories yet, always relevant and in keeping with the child-centred mission of our literary publishing program.
