His picture book Blue Whale Blues won the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Crystal Kite Award, and My Sister is a Superhero won an Australian Book Industry Award. The Elephant was Peter’s first novel. He lives on Australia’s Sunshine Coast with his family.
