Opal Sinclair has always had a passion for writing. She earned her Masters in English and Film at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. Her poems and short stories have been published in a number of literary magazines, When Dogs Work is her debut picture book. Opal has had many pets throughout her life, including three very important dogs. Today, Opal lives in Toronto with her two cats.
